My name is Sonia Grover and I have been practising animal healing for over five years. I spent over twenty years as a businesswoman, working in such disciplines as Sales, Marketing, Project Management and Management Consultancy.  Working for multi national companies and managing multi million pound blue chip customers.  Approximately ten years ago I had a severe back injury that left me very immobile and in constant pain.  Having tried conventional medicine, to differing degrees of success I turned to holistic medicine.  After visiting a healer for a period of time my back injury was completely healed and I was pain free and completely mobile.  As a result of this I decided to follow a path of healing others.

I have been working with Woodgreen Animal Shelter since 2000, predominantly in the field section, helping with horses, goats, donkeys, sheep and the larger animals.  Since 2005 I have been helping also with the Cats and Dogs sections.  I found that as there were so many animals and only one of me, I could never do enough to help, so have subsequently trained over 40 staff on the Reiki form of healing and this is now being practised by staff in the Dog, Cat and Field sections as well as by several of the veterinary nurses.

Main Supplier of Reiki  I have been working with North Herts Cats Protection for about a year.  I have primarily helped with assisting the cats to be re-homed by helping with both the emotional trauma of being re-homed and the physical problems many of the cats come in with.  I have trained about ten of the staff in the Reiki form of healing, allowing them to give Healing to their own animals and any Cats they may be looking after.
